We tested seven ad spy tools on our own accounts in October 2026. BigSpy, Dropispy and Spytrend have free plans, Minea and TrendTrack let a free account in with most features locked, PiPiADS gives 500 trial credits and PowerAdSpy a $7 trial. Paid plans start at €29.90.

How we test

Our own accountsEvery tool is tested on a plan we pay for or a trial we start ourselves, never on a vendor demo.
One query, one dayEvery tool gets the same “dropshipping” search on the same day, so each one is judged on the same task. Result counts are not compared across tools: their databases differ.
Dated screenshotsEach screenshot carries the date, the query and the count the tool showed; where a tool hides a number, we say so.

Which ad spy tools have a free plan?

Of the seven tools we tested, BigSpy, Dropispy and Spytrend have free plans: BigSpy allows five searches a day, Dropispy hides the last two months of ads and blocks keyword search, Spytrend’s free plan shows only ads older than three months. Minea and TrendTrack let a free account in but lock shop data and ad search respectively.
